   Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is the company responsible for electricity transmission and distribution within the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

   Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) procures power from state government-owned power generators (Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam & Uttar Pradesh Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited), central government-owned power generators (NTPC Limited & THDC Ltd) and Independent Power Producers - IPP (mostly private power companies) through Power purchase agreement  for lowest per unit cost of electricity.

Position:- Junior Electrical Engineer

Salary:-  Pay Scale 9300-34800; Grade Pay Rs 4200+400(special fitment grade pay); Other allowance as per rules of corporation 

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. A candidate must have passed 3-year diploma in electrical engineering from any institute recognize from Uttar Pradesh government, AICTE approved or any universities.
2. Candidate should have knowledge of Hindi.If a candidate has not passed Highschool or equivalent exam in Hindi, He/She has to clear an exam conducted by the registrar, Department of examination Gov. of U.P.
3. Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 as on 01/07/2017

How to apply:-

1. A selection process will be based on Written test only. Computer-based test will be held at the various city of Uttar Pradesh.
2. The test shall be of 3-hour duration with 200 marks(150-technical questions,20- General knowledge,20-Reasoning,10-Hindi).Negative mark system will be applicable.
3. Merit list shall be prepared based on the examination that will be conducted.

2. General/OBC category /DEF./EX.Servicemen of u.p.:- Rs 900/-
3. Physical handicap:- Rs 10/-
